Trevor Werner

Current MiLB Player for the Kansas City Royals

Coach Trevor was a standout at Klein HS before playing 4 years at Texas A&M University. In 2023, he was drafted by the KC Royals in the 7th Round. During his first season, he accumilated multiple awards and is quickly moving throught the minor league system. Coach Werner joins us every offseason and is a huge asset to our clinics and camps in the winter months.

Wade Martinez

Founder & Club Director

Coach Wade was a catcher at Cy-Fair High School and Southwestern University. After graduating from college, he returned to his Landscape and Irrigation business in Spring, Texas that he founded in 1988. He also continued to play baseball as an ametuer for nearly twenty years. He competed in tournaments around the country winning numerous titles and finishing second in the 18U+ Open Division World Series in Arizona. As a Scorpions Coach he has led his teams to dozens of Championships, 11 World Series victories and the 2021 12U Cooperstown World Series Title. Today, he continues helping players in various coaching roles, works with High School Players and their college recruiting process, is a Certified Youth Exersise Specialist, serves on both the Scorpions Baseball Club and Scorpions Scholarship Foundation Boards, and more.

Personal Life: Wade remains the president of his Landscape and Irrigation company, has been married to his wife, Katrina, for 29 years, and has two children, Adria 27 and Landon 17.

Christian Caudle

Director of Baseball Operations and Player Development

Specialization: Hitting, Catching

Coach Christian played his collegiate carreer at Texas A&M Kingsville while earning his degree in finance. As a standout catcher, he earned multiple all conference team selections and in 2018 was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals.

Vincent Moore

Director of Baseball Operations, Houston West

Executive Coordinator of Player Development

Specialization: Hitting, Pitching, Fielding

Coach Moore was drafted in the 5th round of the MLB Draft out of High School. His 14-Year professional playing career included time with the Atlanta Braves and San Diego Padres organizations. After his playing career ended, he landed professional coaching positions here he was twice recognized as Manager of the Year.

In 2012, he joined, helped grow and coached at one of Houston's biggest Select Baseball Organizations. After 10 years there, he is regarded by many as one of the best coaches in Travel Baseball. He relates to his players, has a professional demeanor and possesses a wealth of knowledge and experience to help young athletes.

Dom Robinson

Pitching Coordinator

Coach Dom was a stadout at Sam Houston State University and received numerous colleciate accolades and pitched in the Super Regionals for the Bearkats in their strorybook run back in 2017. His College Coaching experiences began as a Graduate Assistant at SHSU and continued as the pitching coach at Cisco College. His high moral character, strong work-ethic and baseball experience and expertise positively influence and help mold our players.

Andrew Orr

Coach Orr was a standout at Cy-Woods High School prior to joining the Sam Houston State University Bearkats as a pitcher. As a member of the Scorpions staff, he works diligently for our players to help get them recruited to the best college or university that fits them athletically, academically, geographically, socially, and financially.

Jason Washburn

High School Recruiting Advisor

Prior to joining Scorpions Baseball, Coach Washburn was the Director of Baseball Operations at Sam Houston State University. Before joining the Bearkats, he was the head baseball coach at College Park (for 14 years), Spring and Willis High Schools. He also coached the 15U USA National Team to a Gold Medal in 2015. He played college ball at Texas A&M.

Robbie Lammons

High School Recruiting Advisor

Specialization: Hitting, Catching, Infield, and College Recruiting

Coach Robbie finished his playing career after a successful college career at Rice University, Howard College and ultimately, St. Edwards University we he earned his degree. As a catcher and infielder, he's been named to numerous all-district, all-conference and all-tournament teams.

Danny Crawford

Trainer/Coach

Specialization: Pitching

Coach Crawford played and earned 1st-Team All-Conference and 2nd Team All-American Honors at the University of Houston and Seminole Jr. College before being drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played his High School Career where he was stand-out receiveng all-district, all Greater Houston and All State awards. Out of High School, he was first drafted by the Toronto Bluejays, but elected to earn his education before pursing his MLB dreams.

Coach Trent a current Assistant Coach at Concordia Lutheran High School. He was a standout hitter and outfielder at St. Edward's University in Austin, Texas. And he played his High School career locally at Tomball Memorial where he was a three year letterman.

Wes Hamilton

Coach Wes was standout 2-time 1st Team All-District player in High School. He continued his playing career at Cedar Valley College and ultimately finished playing at the D1 level at the University of Texas Arlington. Post college, he has spent 16 years as a youth baseball coach and has a continued love for the game and passion helping young players reach their potential and goals.

John Isom

Coach Isom has 15 years experience as a coach and has been with the Scorpions for the past 10 seasons. His sdccess and passion for the game and teaching it the right way is evident in the qualitiy of young men and players that he has helped develop. Without a doubt he's an outstanding coach and role model for our athletes.

Brandon Campos (Katy/Scorpions Ranch Location)

Coach Brandon was a standout at Paetow High School before playing two years at Richland College in Dallas. For years, he has helped coach at camps and clinics in the Houston area. And Recently, he was also asked to coach for Perfect Game in their National Showcases and Events. Coach Brandon brings a vast and current knowledge of the game and a passion for baseball that will inspire and motivate our players.

Landon Martinez

Coach Landon is one of our current HS current players as well as a coach for our youth program. As a player he has won numerous accolades, is a top-20 ranked player in Texas, and is committed to play baseball at Stanford University. He has had extensive training from many top coaches including several years of learing under the direction of Nate Trosky, one of the Nation's leading infield trainers. Landon himself has coached our youth players in camps and clinics for several years and in 2024 was the head coach of his first team with us.

Connor Baumann

Coach Connor has quickly become one of Scorpions most popular coaches. His passion, energy and dedication to teaching and making the game fun for players is unrivaled. As a player, Coach Connor was a standout at Tomball Memorial HS where he was a TWO-Time All-District Middle Infielder.

Keeon Johnson

Certified Personal Trainer

Specializaion: Speed and Agility and Strength Training

Coach Keeon played football at The University of New Mexico State prior to a professional career in both Europe and in the Arena Football League. Today he holds numberous certifications in the fitness world from both ACE and ISSA.

Adria Martinez

Marketing Director

Adria serves as the Scorpions HS liason. She has served as the strength and conditioning for the Scorpions since her senior year of high school. When Adria was 15, She received a full volleyball scholarship to Rice University. As a Student-Athlete at Rice studying sports management, she helped lead the Owls past the #3 Texas Longhorns and land the Rice Volleyball Program in the top 25 for the first time in program history.
